Getting Here & Parking

Here are the best options for getting from Salt Lake City International Airport to Alta Ski Resort:

Rental Car & Parking

Rent a car at Salt Lake City Airport to have the flexibility of your own vehicle. Keep in mind:

1. Valet Parking at Snowpine Lodge is available for $50 per day, whether or not you’re staying at the hotel. *Self-parking is limited, so this is the recommended parking option for those driving.

2.No reservation is needed for valet parking; just drive up and they will take care of the rest.

Important: If you choose to drive, please familiarize yourself with Utah’s new traction laws in the Cottonwood Canyons. These laws require appropriate traction devices (like snow tires or chains) during certain weather conditions. Ensure your vehicle meets these requirements before heading up. For guests staying at the Cliff Lodge or participating in snowboarding activities, we’ve arranged a shuttle schedule to make your transportation seamless:

Wednesday, January 29th

1. 5:00 PM: Shuttle from the Cliff Lodge to Snowpine Lodge.

2. After dinner: Guests can request a shuttle back to the Cliff Lodge by calling Snowpine’s main number (801-742-2000) and pressing 0 to reach the front desk.

Thursday, January 30th

1. 7:55 AM: Shuttle from the Cliff Lodge to Snowpine Lodge.

2. 8:45 AM: Group meets in the main lobby of Snowpine Lodge for the shuttle to Snowbird.

3. 9:00 AM: Shuttle departs for Snowbird.

4. 12:00 PM: Group meets at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird for the return shuttle to Snowpine Lodge for lunch.

5. 12:10 PM: Shuttle departs for Snowpine Lodge.

6. Throughout the afternoon/evening: Guests can request a shuttle back to the Cliff Lodge by calling Snowpine’s main number (801-742-2000) and pressing 0 to reach the front desk.

Equipment Rentals

Enjoy a 30% discount on ski rentals at Jackson’s Base Camp (located on site at the venue) by securing your rentals here. Free ski locker included with ski rentals. Be sure to select the Snowpine Lodge Alta Ski Resort location when booking online at Jackson’s Base Camp! Please note that lift tickets and rentals are user pay.

*Important Note for Snowboarders: Please be aware that Alta Ski Resort does not allow snowboarders. However, we will have a snowboarder group gather to go next door to Snowbird instead! Meeting times and locations will be shared closer to the event.

Lift Tickets

Plan ahead and save on your lift tickets for Snowbird and Alta! Purchase online in advance to secure the best rates. Choose the number of days you’d like to ski or board, but keep in mind that our group will be hitting the slopes together on Thursday, January 30th.
